A year has passed since those heart-wrenching words left my ears: "Get out of my house. I never want to see you again, you're a slut." The memory still haunts me, even as my newborn baby inherits his father's striking blue eyes. I can't help but wonder why he chose that name for me, considering the coldness he exhibited just weeks before our divorce – a sign I should've heeded. David James Miller, his identity still etched in my mind, is undoubtedly capable of finding someone else to fill the void I left behind. Before our marriage, he had a history of being surrounded by women who fawned over him. To him, I was his first in every sense, and he rejoiced when he discovered I remained a virgin. I saved myself for him, cherishing that moment we shared together. But without warning, he ended our marriage without explanation, only to reappear, seeking to reclaim a part of my life and, perhaps, ours. That encounter left me questioning the reasons behind his sudden change of heart.

Though I’m not really keen on cross references, But it is fantastic to read so far I would rate it as a 5 for character development, World-Building and Character thoughts.
