I watched the State of Divinity (1996 TV series) and loved that show. I knew there was a Novel of it but never spent the time to look for it until now. Was reading it online but the chapters very LONG and I keep loosing track of where I left off so I came here. Reading it off Webnovel is so much easier especially since it keeps track of where you left off. Unfortunately Webnovel has a 20k word / 100k character limit for each chapter so I had no choice but to chop up the chapters into parts.For those who also want to read this feel free. I am not taking someone else's work and passing them off as my own, full credit is given to the original writer, translators and editor as listed in the descriptions, plus the content of this novel is free online in multiple sources for everyone to read. 6 chapters in and if you take out all the comments from random people about how its impossible/possible or making fun of him you really only have about 1.5 chapters everything else is filler. 6 chapters in and he is still on stage slowly explaining his idea.

This book is honestly great. There are many books with 18+ but no plot.. but this one has a good plot and also 18+. This is quite interesting seeing cultivators in the modern world and stuff... and the origin of the MC is also very mysterious. He has the top physique in the world and imo he uses it greatly. He is definitely not a simp or petty as other MCs out there and his character is very likable from the start. Perfect combo of action, cultivation, romance, a slice of life, and quite mystery with some comedy. This book is worth spending money on!Throughout the Heaven and Earth I alone am the Honoured One!!Nah I'd win!

The novel's ok, well there's not much depth and the thinking of various characters is quite shallow (for these princes, generals, sect elders, reincarnator and others you'd expect much more complicated thoughts and focuses) but at least it isn't as bad as in these some "i am evil" novels. Also the novel somewhat reminds me of 'invincible Uncle Grandmaster' novel, albeit Uncle Grandmaster was much more chill, had better conversations, good comedy and included character growth/development even at the late chapters of the novel, at the same time being a one-punch-man where fights never lasted long. As for this one, well i doubt there will be any character development, but it's ok, there are no complicated processes and info dumps, it's for those who like "shocked expressions" of people that surround MC.

quality of translation dropped/ different translator after ch 40

Author here!This review is going to be different than my first review.talking about the ratings above,•the writing quality: maybe average at the start but even there I have tried my best to deliver every sentence in a way that will be understandable for my readers!• the story development: is slow but you won't find many holes unless you are urging for one...lol. And if you are thinking that, "Oh another cultivation novel where the mc is gonna be getting treasures left and right and his training will end in the blink of an eye" then you are half right and half wrong.Also from the name of the novel, some may think that the end is known, then you are very wrong.• character design: hehe my fav part....the character story for every character won't take place on the spot...(like hi I am wu shi from the shi clan and I am this, while my dad is that and my fiancee is bla bla bla), "nope

the translation to English is rough. this novel would probably present well in the authors native language. unfortunately the character development and interaction between characters results in no development with the main character being overpowered with a domineering personality.
