The year is 2013, and it's the city of No. 6: a stringently controlled, diligently maintained megalopolis that embodies the highest ideals of humankind. Sion has lived under close supervision as a "high-ranking elite and therefore one of the city's assets" since the age of two, and feels secure - if not particularly happy - in his carefully planned out, government-sponsored future.

On the night of his twelfth birthday, his comfortable lifestyle is turned upside-down when he meets, tends the wounds of, and shelters, a strange boy with an icy demeanour who calls himself "Nezumi" (Rat).

Why did I open the window that night? If I had not, I'd never have been forced to know what it's like to fight, to starve, and to suffer in anguish...

I found fault at every chapter, plot, arc and even characters, it feels like it was written by a child T_T, the events came out of nowhere just for the sake of unnatural "hype" his interaction with his parents are cringe, it's like they came out of fantasy on how everyone wants they're parents to be. I'm still hoping for it to be better, I'll try to persevere, the first 100 chapters are unbearable to read. Very. It made me feel dumb, as the person below said, there was a lot of bad decisions, like if he was trying to hide his identity why try to come in and out of the main gate, if he was trying to hide his identity, why do "this and that." A lot of poorly explained scenarios, incomplete, like you don't even know how his armor exactly looked like, does it cover face? I believe it wasn't mentioned, I just assumed it does since people didn't recognized him. His voice too, his saber technique too, the software wasn't explained well too, like how it works and such, can people view his log, how does other user exactly observe him pulling chests. Too dumb, too many plotholes, severely lacking of details, too much needless supposedly "developmental" emotional scenario, it's also wasn't explained why the f is xu ling so attached to him, like it came out of nowhere. All in all, the reason I'm hating this novel was because of those dumb decisions he keeps on making. Hope it gets better later on T_T

Obra incrivel, não consegui sentir muito no final, mas percebi o quão bom foi para o protagonista, recomendo ler
