Poor translation. Most of the time it's impossible to understand what's happening.0 0 Reply

I have finished this novel y'all so the story goes well l until the first volume is finished and the progress is good, makes us look forward to the progress but then after that the author finishe's the novel quickly and the endings lackluster. The author was new to this like having alot of subscription for the first time(he was a new author at the time) and when the subscription went down after a million words (I don't remember the exact number) All of a sudden he didn't know we to do and the story well ended quickly. So it's good for casual read but don't get too into it or you might rage at the ending.0 0 Reply

The main point of a sect is a theosophy not in conflict with the established state. If we have a population producing with religious leadership, we have states like ancient Egypt where the leader is administrative and religious. In the case of China the Sects are Feudal. In the Feudal regime there is wealth in production coming from the Earth to an authority. A Sect can drain workers from other fiefs which is bad for nearby fiefs but excellent for a monarch who wants a centralized yet religiosity dependent. The sect must be religious but without the desire or ambition for enlargement subservient to the monarch.0 0 Reply

I've read till chapter 78. This is my unbiased review. The story translation is better than most cultivation stories here. But the pacing is extremely slow killing any entertainment you can get from the story. But the weakest part of the story is the plot and world building is extremely weak IMHO.The plot can be summarized thus. The MC is someone without a spirit root, that can't raise their cultivation in the conventional manner. So he gets a golden finger and can raise the quality of pills and ingredients. He creates pills from waste materials that are created when pill concoction fails. And eats these pills to slowly raise his cultivation. That's it.Yeah if you consider the MC is wholly dependant on eating pills to cultivate, we expect alchemy or pill concoction to be a big part of the world building. But no, not only he doesn't know any pill concoction, the world doesn't have many different types of pills too. Like whole idea of pills is just a concentrated spirit energy that people take to speed up their cultivation. Extremely boring.Cultivation system is very weak and simplistic too. They just suck in spiritual energy (or qi whatever) , raise their cultivation level thus Qi amount. They use this Qi to use magical talismans , magical tools etc. As you can see, cultivation only makes their mana capacity higher to use limited use talismans or unlimited use tools. They don't have concept of different cultivation arts, styles, dao etc.Like where are the sword cultivators? Poison cultivators? Formation masters? Alchemists that can create more than concentrated Qi pills?Different dao? Space time powers?Yeah let me tell you where they aren't . This story. This is my review after 78 chapters.0 0 Reply

"Oh!" tawa pa rin niya. "Your face was priceless!" lalong lumakas yung tawa niya. "I'm just joking okay? I don't care kung saan ka nanggaling. Proud nga ako sa'yo eh. This is the first time! Natututo ka na. Congratulations! We should celebrate. You think?" i look at her with disbelief.0 0 Reply

"I've never been rejected you see, heck I've never even confessed to anyone!" She pauses debating on her next words, "rejection does sure hurt." She says in a low tone but Jennie hears her.0 0 Reply
