I really like this new story. It has the cultivation end of things which I like but it also has a mix of a mage feeling to it.  It has a good mysterious plot happening which I really like and it has the face slapping without being as vicious as a lot of cultivation novels are at this point.  Not that I don't like all the good fight scenes in my novels but it is a nice change from the status quo. I also really like the school idea in this book.  It is different from the sects that you usually read about.

Mr. Arthur when's the next update? and which date is the update going to be on? I'd really love to know so I can prepare ahead of time... thanks!

Interesting concept with a good start to the story, but starting at chapter 45 the translation quality is terrible. Many names are changed across the board and even the changes are inconsistent. Could be a great story if translation improves, but until then it is very hard to read because of frustration about the poor translations.

I think the story is pretty good and sort of interesting. I would recommend to others, but this is just my opinion. Also have a great day everyone.

Yet another victim of the inscrutable synopsis.  Look, Ji is a disgraced Imperial prince who also happens to be a transmigrator whose goldfinger activated too late for him to stop the scheme that got him locked up in a library with nothing but Buddhist sutras to read.  ONLY!  His goldfinger's skill is to assimilate whatever he reads and immediately make him a master of whatever skill generates.  Now, it's up to him to defend his only blood sibling and overturn the Heavens (and his neglectful father) to take his rightful place as ruler of all!

I loved this story! The alternate ending neary made me cry. I love how the characters were designed and how they grew, and I really hope there is a sequel or will be one, one day possibly. It was such a lovely story.
