If you enjoyed HNOF, the, you will love this. Our MC transmigrated into a villainous old man's body, and everyone including his disciples are trying to kill him. It is well developed and fast paced. A recommended must read.

Return of the Woodcutter is an honest treat to read. It’s so close to flawless that I have no qualms in recommending it to anyone who reads this. With a promising story, an intriguing world, and great characters to get attached to, Return of the Woodcutter is everything you could hope for in a read. Do keep in mind, however, I’ve only read 10 chapters. The real story hasn’t even started yet. I think I might have to take a second pass at this review, maybe update it in the future when I’ve read more chapters. This is a good interesting little story. Sorry Kyosea, but my three spirit stones are already committed to be split 2/1 amongst two other stories and while you've got something good, it isn't good enough to displace either of my favorites…I must say though, I very much liked the idea that some ordinary dude got an invite to a magician's chat group purely by accident…And you kinda blew that almost immediately by having your "MC" be the "Destined One" with beaucoup backstory.EE…One other thing, there has already been one case of "let's memory-wipe the mundane so they don't find out the truth…"So far as I am concerned, tampering with someone's memory is a FAR MORE REPREHENSIBLE CRIME than simply killing them.Faced with a choice—and none of these folks get a choice—"let us erase the most significant experience of your life OR we'll have to kill you…"I'd unhesitantly chose death.Altering someone's memories is a form of mental rape—and the Victorians quite properly named rape "A fate worse than death."
