Sweet but pitiable story. Some inconsistencies. English language issues make it a difficult read often, especially the incorrect use of pronouns and possessives.

I've heard of this novel on reddit and a few insta comments. How is it? Is it really slice of life or normal cultivation novel? If it's a chill novel with occasional young masters coming and irritating MC, I'm fine with that. Can anyone give a decent review?
Also, novels with similar premise as mentioned above? Don't mention gourmet of another world, black tech internet cafe, pet king, stay at home restaurant, solo farming tower. I've read those, as much as I could tolerate 😅

It’s been a while since I read the beginning of this novel, but recently (chapter 190-210) the translation can be pretty wack, so much so that I’m depending on my rusty mandarin skills to make more sense of some weird phrases or statements that seem oddly inappropriate for the context they are in. This is even more so for the grammar - it doesn’t make sense in english - its like someone directly just shoved it into google translate.

The story is exactly as the synopsis is - someone says something about being x or y, and suddenly the protagonist can do or is x or y. I think it’s a solid read beyond the translation, but I also wouldn’t recommend anyone taking this novel too seriously.
