    the story world background leveling up and character progress are good but the translation seems to be bit off sometimes but I would definitely recommend this book

    Overall a good story, if overly edgy and not particularly well thought out. The setting is about as expansive as you'd expect from a xianxia, which is noteworthy because this was posted almost entirely separate from the genre. It suffers from many of the flaws as well, though, exacerbated since it's shorter than most but tries to cram quite a bit of content into the space.Worth noting that the author has several more chapters posted over on FF . net, but he's also since dropped it in favor of a yet to be posted rewrite, so the story is quite dead.

    'Crap. Crap. Crap.' He pulled a bunch of wooden arrows out and rammed them into the trunk. It scrapped bark into his face but the momentum alleviated for a second. That was all the time he needed.
