Amano Ichigo is a 14-year-old with a deep love for cake. After an encounter with lecturer Henrie Lucas at a cake buffet, she enrolls at St. Marie Academy, a prestigious school dedicated to nurturing future patissiers. On her very first day as a transfer student, not only does she find herself among an elite group alongside three princes of the sweet world, but she also meets Vanilla, a sweets spirit. Ichigo can be scatter-brained and clumsy, and she's entirely new to the art of cake making. Yet, she is determined to improve, learning one skill at a time, all in the hopes of bringing joy to those who taste her creations.
The mediators certainly are in the middle of the road of this system but it is more like they are upper-level people dealing with the system's dirty parts, so they still carry a lot of individual influence. Having the position may come with expectations and limits, but they seem to be left alone in most cases to not bungle the system.
