    Aside from the comedy, its starting to get better on the storyline too. There is still alot of room for improvement. I just hope this series keeps getting better

    It depends on which anime you mean? Crystal is almost *exactly* like the manga, but the classic anime is almost nothing like the manga. I personally prefer the manga to everything, but I don't have the nostalgia factor as I didn't see the original anime until I was 30 years old.
