Chapter 4 explains a little bit more of the "unique blood" but still leaves much open, which is good. And what was shown is fun.

Now I will say this... the art is pretty "basic", it isn't the most unique style but the author has a good sense of design, which they can use very well, but as far as here, I think the simple art complements the design, but I could see this falling off quickly if the author can't keep it interesting enough.

I am liking where this is going, and I will double down on this having Ajin genes, but I am not complaining, one "weakness" in Ajin is that the power there wasn't very "flexible", here we will see some interesting things it seems.

I thought it sucks based on first time is saw it with first episode, but in fact it suits pretty well the spirit of the manga. It's not "soulless", i saw good movements and expressions, the ED / OP are great... Don't judge it only for few minutes. Try to watch the entire anime. Yes i probably would have prefer classic animation without cgi entirely, but it's a good "simple slow cgi". I prefer this kind with emotion viewable instead of perfected cgi heartless. You know, like when you like something done great with the means they use, instead something done bad with all the means they can use.
