    Really good example of fish-out-of-water story. Unique premise and story, great execution of a technology gap narrative.. MC's planetary-goals and his motivations are quite fascinating. Worldbuilding of the space empire in particular is superb... could easily have a compelling prequel on MC's time in the Galactic military, or other spin-offs set within the Galactic Empire.

    Strongly recommended for anyone who like space opera/fantasy with a shonen-esque slant.
