Tsuihou suru Gawa no Monogatari

Honestly this was a satisfying ending...............even though the story had so many plot-holes...

Compared to the novel, this adaptation so incompetent that im surprised people can even follow the story. they are putting in lines from the novel verbatim regardless of differences between two mediums. For example, when roland says "its not about preference but about personal gain" there is actually 2 paragraphs preceeding that line explaining what he means by "preference". And without that context (he is talking about a theological concept regarding polytheism and monotheism), the line makes no sense and just look like a bad translation. There is at least one problematic line like this in every chapter and some of them are narrative breakingly bad. Thats the reason most of what Garcia says comes across as gibberish, thats not just a translation issue, they cut all context from her lines, but insterted the "poignant" sounding ones unaltared anyway.
