A number of romance anime/manga could really learn a lot from this. No unnecessary drama just for plot and Tougo isn't your 'plain self-insert template' that's been plaguing the high school romance genre in recent times

Shadowman or high human were the only other 'correct' choices for our MC with shadowman being the best option by far since it would've had huge synergy with his current style. Sniper should've took Renardian (fox shit) for the improved senses, magic, and dexterity to help her in maintaining distance and keep from being ambushed. The only thing wildman does for her is the slight increase to her horrendously weak physicals (if it was a % increase then her decision was shit, if it was flat then not bad) Demon has obvious synergy with Ricchan and is probably her best bet. Amazon would be second since it possesses a unique skill while still maintaining a flat increase to her general combat stats.

The other guy is kind of a loser and his choice doesn't matter because his ability so far doesn't matter.

For some reasons people love parroting the same shit take in this comment section. No, series don't automatically get worse after the main couple get together (The Dangers in My Heart, The Girl I Like Forgot Her Glasses,..) There's even a whole category of romance series that starts with the main couple already together (Shikimori's not just cute, Kanan-sama wa Akumade Choroi..) Not every manga needs to be an endless drag with no actual development like rent-a-cuck or a couple of cucks.

Now about this particular series: it feels like there's nothing going on, many will find it boring because you're reading 1/3 of a chapter each release. Solution: wait for some months and read a bunch at a time, or just don't read it and make baseless false generalization.
