[EDIT: DON'T READ ONISM'S COMMENT. YOU'LL GET SPOILED.]
The misunderstandings of the characters (ch 1 to 25~) felt like brain rot (some were THAT dumb). But once you brave through, the later chapters finally make it interesting. You get to the actual meat of the manhwa plotline.
Shit starts racheting up and the manhwa finally becomes worthy of reading.
Haven't read S2 yet (will do so after it completes), but I am hopeful 🥲.
Cheers guys!
Season 1 ends with a big misunderstanding and cliffhanger. Lighthearted FL and boring ML: rich, SIMP for FL for seemingly little reason, widely regarded as desirable.

CONTENT WARNINGS
Poverty, blood, false rumours, blackmail
The concept itself and the beginning of the story are fine, but it gets ruined very quickly. I've dropped this after chapter 18, which was the peak of ridiculousness up to this point. I don't think there was a single proper conversation without any misunderstandings in this whole story. The amount of overthinking done by the protagonist, which lead to constant misunderstandings is just absurd, to the point where she can actually start daydreaming during a conversation, reaching the most ludicrous conclusions. Someone's interested in her? Oh, they're obviously a spy sent by the imperial family. To hell with the fact that they have no connection to the imperial family whatsoever.
Well, misunderstandings aren't everything that's bad about this story. Here's some more.
I really liked the concept. And it had its funny moments…
But the misunderstandings due to the MC wild imagination, just got old really fast. Dropped after 18 chapters.
