    sexual assault and rape against men isnt treated as much of an issue in most countries. in the original script for friday after next, money mike would have been raped in a bathroom, and worse yet this was expected to be funny. it is rather disturbing, but japan isnt the only offender

    The author tried hard in creating shock factors as he goes by each chapter and it did work decently especially the tragic revelation between each families of Shizuka, Marina, and Azuma. Each of the main character's struggles were very realistic and its messages hits homerun that some may even find the MCs' stories very personal to the person reading this manga. However, I think this manga was rushed HAAAAARD. The author stopped trying after Chapter 11 and made a mess of things by using the ever-convenient time travel trope. Things went very confusing and convoluted from there on and somehow it had a happy ending. Still, it's a good read.

    If you want a story with similar vibes to this with really effective shock factor, well-paced, and have a tragic storyline with a really happy ending all the while having low chapter numbers, I recommend you read "The Gods Lie"
