    and that's precisely why i'm asking if it's a "general term" used in dungeon related thingy. never once have i ever said that the author of this series is stealing things from other author's series. i've read and played countless dungeon related literatures and games but never once i find monster house being used until i read it in saikyou kenja. but now since this series is also using the same term in the same situation, hence why the question

    Yeah I was kinda annoyed by his buddy getting introduced suddenly becoming a magic master and then being some hero with chicks sticking to him left and right. Even stopped reading at that point before, but as you said after a while he became likeable.
    He didn't turn out to be a douche antagonist I expected him to be, but stuck around and was a real bro. The hero dude was also really nice.
    Breath of fresh air compared to other manga always making a lot of drama.
    The divorce sub-plot was kinda weird and painful.
