It’s a story that doesn’t take itself too seriously
It was fun. It was interesting. The plot is more high stakes. Ellen is possessed, Dion is possibly a traitor, the marquis has made his final move… then you look up and realise there are only like 2 chapters left until the finale and you know it’s going to be train wreck 👀
Truly encapsulates the saying ‘it’s about the journey [seriously, enjoy the fun while it lasts] and not the destination’

This was clearly a love triangle and yet in just the last chapter, they solidify Dion as the ML have them kiss and confess their love. But like…where was the build-up??! Everything he did romantically before was always dismissed by the FL because she was incredibly dense. They had like no scenes where she was actually beginning to see him in a romantic light and thinking he might feel the same. And…what happened to the other male love interest? Because it was so rushed, there was like nothing on him — his reaction, how he ended up living, etc.
And plot holes galore! Like how is Ellen actually Siena’s sister when Ellen is the marquis’s illegitimate daughter? Siena’s adopted parents were together and very loving. Does that mean Siena’s mother had an affair with the marquis? If that’s not true and Ellen was born to Siena’s parents, how did she end up at the Marquis’s house?
And according to the diary of one of the victims during the Marquis’s experiments, Ellen’s blood awakened some unstable demonic energy (not very clearly explained). But Ellen was never a demon herself. A demon had attached their soul to hers (but it never had control of her body). So how did Ellen’s blood awaken demonic energy? (According to the plot, only the blood of the saintess has an effect)
In the last chapter they seem to cover that up my saying the marquis had gathered blood from potential saintess candidates to experiment on (saintess blood can awaken and strengthen demons). This experiment included injecting blood into a victim to get them to develop capabilities. But if it was actually Siena’s blood (the actual saintess) that was used and that awakened the victim’s ability to control demonic energy, then why was the victim SO SURE it was Ellen’s blood when he saw her?
And what about that tattoo on Dion’s arm what was hinted at but never explained?
Or how Dion’s mother planted her son’s soul in a demon’s body when the demons were sealed? Especially since the only way to unseal a demon is with saintess blood. But they never mentioned the mother getting saintess blood.
Or what happened to Siena’s parents. They were in an accident with a fiend (like a lesser demon) but their bodies were never found. Later it’s revealed Siena was the saintess and had used her divine power to shield her parents. So, are they actually alive?!!

I'm actually impressed... this is the first manwha I ever see that tries to close every single plot lines in their very last chapter! Number 1 of rushing the plot as lightning speed, it's a bit impressive.
However it failed and said plot makes 0 sense, half of it feel very soap opera-esque. Ellen appears surprisingly little despite being in the title.
Started decently entertaining, though.
Started out okay and entertaining enough, gradually fell apart, and the last 15 chapters were rushed with horrible pacing that was often hard to follow. Can't say I'd recommend it......
And so this hits the spot. I like the idea that the FL isn't a delicate flower or a manipulative queen. She's a strong fighter, willing to stand up for herself, and not lost in super mushy thoughts all the time. She's a part of the action, not a trophy to protect and win.
And as for being a clueless recipient of ML and 2ML love? Well, I don't mind it.
