    It's possible they did, but for the characters we've seen there's no reason for them to change the ranks from the first impressions other than Carrie maybe. MC only managed to beat another D rank through the whole trial, plus only survived against S rank cause of absurd levels of synchro rate which now happens to he banned making him significantly less skilled. Sleeping guy died with no kills, but did lose to a top 3 player in the game and managed to show a bit of potential. S rank got the most kills so he stays at top. Carrie won so she went up the one rank she possibly could
