Flame Comics Chapter 28

the mc has never seen anything besides his underground prison, why would he have a dream of going out? this underground prison is all he knows. he should've been a mindless obedient drone at this point.
he also never met his mom, why would he care about her?
it would be something else if the kid was raised normally up until let's say 10 years old. show us that he actually had a life before this prison. then have the mother leave and THEN have his father go crazy. show us that the MC actually lost something, that's why he wants to find it. that would be more believable and actually compelling.
that's why it's such a common trope for characters to get revenge for the death of their loved ones.
if the loved ones were never there to begin with, what's the point of seeking revenge? you've never spent any time with these people, what would compell you to seek retribution on their behalf? I get that the MCs mother is out there but she should've been a total nobody to him. you would not miss something you never had.
the premise that the manhwa has will only work if we actually get to see the kid actually have his happy life get snatched away. if he was isolated since the beginning with no actual frame of reference of what freedom is actually like, then there's nothing for him to long for. he would just be a husk.
the setup was kinda good the story, the monsters, the abilities but the more you read and know the MC the worst it gets
not gonna waste my time, its a total waste of a story because of a poor written characters
good idea poorly executed
Dropped. Cant tolerate how the MC was written.
Kid was educated one way since birth but somehow have a different opinion. He doesnt start with curiosity to question why this and that but deny things based on what? His knowledge?.
This begs a question on how was he educated but going back to his mentor its seems impossible to happen.
Kids acts like he was from outside locked in a place from how mad he was trying to escape but hes not. He grew up there and outside was supposed to be foreign to him.
Thats just from the start and grew tired writing.
MC is taught and raised by dad since birth, yet he is somehow not brainwashed / indoctrinated as we see with people born in cults and isolated.
Could be TL issue, but it also flip flops between not believing that there is an apocalypse vs not believing that an apocalypse is coming.
Also MC who has never seen sunlight can instantly run around in the mid day sun.
I could go on, but any more of this half baked premise is not worth it.
i have a good 5mins laugh
It is also a golden comedy isekai manga liek this one
