I'm pretty sure it's like a sort of Shonen-tard type mentality, where if there is no *BOOM* *BANG* *SLASH* nobody would be interested

The main issue is their government. Despite all of Asia shitting on them for never taking accountability for the war crimes like Germany did, they still continue to play victim. Were the bombs overkill? Maybe. But they ended the war, averting more bloodshed. The funnier thing about this topic is that Japanese citizens know their nation was in the wrong, but they just turn a blind eye in panic whenever it's brought up. Also funny how foreigners think that Japan and the rest of Asia are on good terms with each other, just because their favorite celebs and kpop groups interact with each other's cultures.
I enjoy manga and anime, but there are two things that will make me lose interest in a series:

    1. Author is a pro Imperial Japan shill
    2. The fans are a bunch of foreigners whose lineages weren't directly affected by the Japs, but fervently believe Japan was a hopeless victim incapable of doing wrong, just because its a culture full of politeness and anime today. Hilarious lol.
