Nanji, Hoshi no Gotoku

I can let go of her hitting the mc with the frying man even if it is cliche cause a random boy falling from the sky crashes into you is a bit of a frightening experience. But dismissing his claims after seeing him stop literal rain, then having your fucking eyes magically heal, then lashing out on your dad while he is trying to do good to a random lost boy magically transported there or not is not okay. Fuck her and fuck the author for going with this trope of FMC

It's good slice of life manga but something just doesn't sit right with me.
In the chapters I have read so far it doesn't seem like she wants to try to be a maiko anymore and now her friend is moving up while she is stuck doing chores and cooking, doesn't seem like a good choice since she isn't going to school anymore.
Just kinda weird seeing a mc without any ambitions and just resigning herself to basically slaving away to people living the life you wanted to have

The jokes were too cringe sometimes but the ending was really nice. I'm glad I finished reading it finally!

Yeah no way, even if she dies at some point in the story (not saying she will cuz I haven't read it) by the time of the side stories for Second Coming of Gluttony (novel the author wrote after this one in the same universe) she shows up back on Earth as one of KSH's wives so long term she's gonna be fine.
