The translation/localization makes this better than average, I think.
Some things I enjoy about it that are a little atypical to the genre: FL and ML do communicate and are similar in a few ways (e.g., they both enjoy teasing the ML's aide). The conflicts are pretty much all external (i.e. caused by other people). The suspension of disbelief elements are surprisingly well-handled. I think it takes an appropriate balance with the humor.
The FL/MC is also a pretty delightful character to read about. She's both intelligent and petty, but she will try and do the "good" thing despite potentially (negative) consequences. (She starts off as a pretty self-preserving character but quickly grows attachments).
The ML is definitely one of those "I love my wife" types, which I happen to enjoy, so yeah, not a ton of romantic tension in this series, haha. But watching the development of their relationship is cute, especially because there's no love triangle or forced misunderstandings to create additional drama (thus far).
I'm only about 15 chapters in, but I'll continue reading.
The story for me is just okay, what kept me reading is when FL’s brother appeared 🤭
