The 'classless' thing seems to play no real part outside of prejudice. It's basically: "Anything you can believe in, as long as you think outside the box, is possible!" type of story.
The main character takes on each 'school of thought', one after another. Which can be fun as he's turning into a crazy powerful monster.. but.. the struggle isn't really shown. It's more: "I think I can.. cool. I've mastered this."
I wish they'd delve more into what classes actually are and keep that, as now it's mostly just "warriors or mages" arcs. Classes aren't playing a part like we'd think they would if they were spirit animals, or 'one spell' type of things. So I have to knock off a bit for that.
But I enjoy the art, the arcs themselves are mildly fun for now as it's mostly just people's reactions to him. For the time being, up to chapter 35 (which feels like it's ending...), it's an okay read. I'd recommend reading it as it's not an amazing series but it's not trash. A 7 feels about right for this at the current time.
Goddamn it.
