Pretty disappointing overall. Generic regressor + cheat + apocalypse + game system, etc etc. The MC starts as a ruthless (that's fine), brainless (that's bad), asshole. Early actions taken by the MC verge on psychopathic, though he seems to mellow a bit later. The starting villain, however, is cartoonishly evil, to an absurd degree.
The story is full of inconsistencies and plot holes. Like each chapter is written by someone new who just skimmed the previous chapters (if they read them at all). If you read the chapters as they came out, maybe it wouldn't be so bad (long periods of time between chapters to forget details), but if you binge read them, the inconsistencies will be jarring.
