After finishing the very first arc this is what I think, MC is cool and all, but honestly I find no reason to root for him. He is trying to fulfill what he said to his grandfather and become the strongest but it's not really a 'goal'. Cause a story doesn't end after becoming the strongest, there should be a reason why he wants to be the strongest, how that title will help him achieve something thats worth being so brutal for.
