I have to say, to me this was kinda... meh.

I had to power through to read and mostly persisted because I like the artist but this is not his best work, everything in this is so... middle of the road to me.

The way the characters talk and act, their personalities, the pacing, everything felt always held back by the same troupes of isekai story as at the same time, it wanted to be something more.

I don't like the MC, I don't know how to word it well, but... he has no charm, his obsession with mechs is a funny schtick in the start but gets boring and grating after some time, and kinda a little spoiler... he is almost a sociopath, seriously, at a few point I truly think he valued mechs more than even his friends lives, it is done like a joke but I didn't find it funny.

This is isekai trash, a little above most, but still the same, to me, I feel like I wasted my time but if you want I won't say you can't have fun with it.

I gotta ask because I just realized it. Was the escape in ch 1 a Bruce almighty reference? Like he went above the ceiling from one of the tiles and met god.
