There should be a competition to write the engagement annulment with as many tropes as possible. This manga is ranking pretty high:
- accused of pushing heroine down the stairs by prince
- heroine clings to prince and smugly smiles
- "wicked deeds"
- bewildered face as prince declares engagement is ended
- guard/knight romantic interest grabs her arm
- "Don't play dumb, heroine told me everything!"
- heroine is some adopted daughter with no etiquette, all mc really did was tell her to fix her act
- "heroine doesn't want this to happen to you"
- Taken to some grimy dungeon cell
