Kono Yuusha Moto Maou ni Tsuki

I thought this would be generic, but it's actually pretty incredible. Interesting art that pops off during important moments, and also carries a certain melancholic dark fantasy vibe, especially in the boss fight and during the night city scenes.
The protagonist is also great, he's one of the most believable "modern gamer" MCs. He utilizes his game knowledge properly to become powerful, but it never feels like he's overpowered. He also gets scared and fucking traumatized as I imagine everyone would if they were suddenly thrust into a life and death world, even if it's a world similar to an RPG. He has a clear goal but also struggles with cowardice, with trusting people, with his own perception of the world just being a game. The other characters are all interesting, too, even a cliche like "saving a slave girl" is handled intelligently and in a satisfying way. Love their natural big brother/cheeky sister dynamic.
One of the best Isekai/transmigration manga out there.

Them tying this event with the stuff that happened 20k years ago made this soo confusing.
