The cool thing is, he's already like 6 steps into his plan and has another 6 planned out.. Dudes a god damn genius. The novel does an excellent job of 'showing' his brains instead of telling us. So far the Mahuwa has done a good job, but this scene in particular (around ch 57) isn't really done justice. This whole scene set the tone for the entire story. While doing ok, it hasn't done as well as the novel.
