All the characters are the epitome of edge. Also it doesn’t really make sense how there are 4 psychopaths in a school and you’re telling me that one of them tortures animals on the daily, another guy (HE IS FIFTEEN) owns a PROSTITUTION RING and NONE of them have been caught?? Yeah, super realistic.. LIKE BRUH seriously?? that 15 year old even keeps a sex slave in his damn apartment.
FL is also so annoyingly stupid, she never learns from her past and keeps doing the same shit over and over again.
It’s not realistic at all and the characters are very 2D but yknow at the end of the day, it’s not bad. Just some decent revenge manga. The revenge scene are satisfying so that’s that.
What's the probability of 5 sociopaths of the same age going to the same elementary school in the same small town? Why is the mc keeping up the facade of being a normal high schooler, instead of just dedicating his time to assassinating his enemies? Why the hell is the detective suspicious of the mc? Who investigates an accident that killed a family of 3 and concludes that it's a murder plot by a bunch of elementary schoolers?? If you're willing to overlook such immersion breaking silliness, it's a good revenge manga.
The villains are sufficiently over the top evil, the side characters are sufficiently flat, dumb and uninteresting, and the mc is sufficiently edgy. It's all silly, edgy, unrealistic fun times.
Dropped ch.28
The MC is boring, edgy, and up his own arse, the villains are one dimensional and over the top, and the FL has the IQ of a doorknob.
I hardly rate things 1/10, but this tryhard mess earned it.
The story is nothing much, MC is bullied to oblivion by 5 bullies, those being 4 boys and a girl who acts as the leader of the bunch, to the point they even plot the death of protagonists parents and the disability of his little brother.
Since his parents died, he needs to stay with the closest available family member he has, which would be his grandpa.
Grandpa can be considered a retired "badass" if you call it, he was part of a secret service unit in WW2, and their speciality was torture procedures to make enemies fess up their orders, this is in turn why he does not get along with the rest of his family since he has a sort of PTSD going on and people find him scary due to it.
Four years later, and having learned from the best in business, he comes back with a single-minded goal, make the bullies pay by all means necessary.
(as of chapter 12)
Biggest faults of the manga:
-fake intelligence / characters clearly have info they’re not supposed to have (scenes where a character immediately thinks of the right answer without getting ANY sort of info, happen quite often)
-2D personalities (I could probably describe all characters I know in 2 words or less...)
-characters often do or say stuff that makes no sense from their pov just in order to make the scene more exciting (imo, it just makes them look stupid. This is something I pay a lot of attention to in general tho so maybe it won’t bug you as much)
Overall, the manga is still readable. The art style is good, the pacing- ok, the main idea behind the plot- not bad...
Don’t expect yourself to be “blown away” or ever truly start caring about the characters in the story if you read it... but maybe you’ll find it good enough as a time killer?
at the very least it’s better than most of the trashy manhwas/manhuas that keep coming out
If you still decide to check it out, you will likely know if this is your piece of pie or not around chapter 6-7.
If the characters’ actions don’t start irritating you till then, chances are that you will enjoy this more than I did.
bruh who tf rated it as a 3, this is goated
