I have no idea what you expected from this series.

In no moment, this has been anything else than a store about a girl with a strange heritage discovering that and having to grow up with those new found abilities, in a world that seemingly has no real use for them.

It is using supernatural and SoL aspects to create something new, it has been done before? Yes, but it still is its own thing.

The way you wrote this, it feels like the author baited you into thinking this would become some shounen battle manga, which isn't true there was never any hint of that at all.

This is a short read that I recommend everyone should. It's seemingly ecchi, but does carry some meaningful messages throughout the story and has a somewhat LotR-vibe in the final large-scale battle. The art is a plus, too.
