    He wanted to destroy an entire country and kill his classmates because 1 he was bullied to the point of committing suicide only to find himself in another world but still being bullied. 2, the kingdom sentenced him to death because they didn’t like his class and treated him like trash. A person can only handle so much before they snap. As for “taking the moral high ground”, he’s used to being treated like crap because of his bullying, and he was told to not standout, he was not trying to take the moral high ground.
