    It's still as good as I remember it to be. Over 15 years ago. Damn, time flies.
    You wanna read the ultimate underdog story? You want intrigue, deception, manipulation? Badass fights, and great art? Deaths that have meaning and stick? Good looking boys, girls, men and women? And even feels?
    This manga is the full package. It's gripping and still holds up.
    There's only one negative about it. The story is open ended, with enough sequel hooks to write a couple of stories afterwards.
    But like life, most stories don't get a proper ending, they just do.
    I would totally recommend it and I'm very sad that that it didn't get picked up.
    But I'm really glad that it happened.

    Martial artists... we're so predictable. Rin will endure the pain, but a few seconds before the end she won't be able to take any more, she'll fall and lose the bet anyway, without telling anyone why. But Ayumu who is a fellow martial artist will know because he would surely notice a limp, even slight. And Rin will aknowledge defeat with no excuses, out of pride and honour. Sigh.
