They trying real hard to justify the threesome;
1st - by having a strong male (mindset wise), an in between one (mindset wise) and the female.
2nd - by the two men acting as mom and dad to a broken girl (except mom and dad shouldn't f*ck their daughter ...)
3rd - whenever they bring up how this whole situation is just putting a band-aid on the girls wounds at the expense of the men; they immediately throw the "we promised", "I love her and he's my friend", "we must protect her", etc.
The author is smart to use this setting as it can get the most drama but he too is using band-aids to fix all the inconsistencies and excuses in the story while adding more drama. It's a weird read but I'm curious to see if he can keep this going without readers dropping it later on.

It's finally become a true throuple but the scene with the creep old man just making me disgusted.

Adorable anime with a cute ending. Kind of feels rushed but can't really complain since the plot is above average at best, the characters are great and the chibi's/spirits are amazing. Recommend to watch it if you want a relaxing fun adventure that isn't all ¨OP MC 1-SHOTS 5 MILLION DRAGONS AND IS NOW LEVEL 35,000¨

i began ro read yotsuba& when i was in middle school ( 10y ago) where i stopped at vol. 8 and it's still not finished... damn the author is taking his time.
