Anyways I didnt enjoy this. Reminds me of those shitty school manhwas where you are constantly fighting bigger opponents until I guess you explode the earth with 1 punch. Like why do the premises have to be so absurd to get the character to evolve? Anyways I just think the story is dogshit considering how much I liked the characters at the start. This is like a 4/10 and if Abu wasnt so based it would be 1/10.

After finding such a high quality story, I of course went to the webnovel... Suffice to say I was disappointed. It's roughly the same story, same jokes and stuff, but... it's not the same. Here I'll go into some spoilers for the story adapted so far. I haven't read further than the manga got. What the manga portrays as clear unjust criticism from the people around him and neglect from his parents, isn't nearly as clear in the webnovel. For example, in the webnovel, the scene where he tells his parents he will win the tourney, they're actually supportive. Where the manga successfully thrust a gut wrenching punch from the realisation that his parents have no faith in him succeeding, the webnovel managed to portray the main character as a self absorbed child, whose world view is distorted by his inferiority complex. One provokes an attachment to the MC, while the other makes him a very immature, repulsive child.

Didn't think this mining adventure would turn into an eggcavation.
