First off, I have to admit this guy is a badass for how he played things in the end. enduring that much abuse while pretending to be a junkie is harrowing. He flipped the script and got his way and I respect him for that. Not only did he earn his victory, but the shear amount of willpower it must have taken is incredible.

In the same breath I'm a little sad he lost himself entirely for round two. Living entirely for revenge. Encouraging others to follow him down that path, and even straight up brainwashing his tormentor. I'm not a huge fan of brainwashing, but I could let it go when used on that sadistic bitch of a queen. When he got to the sword saint it crossed a line in my book.

This would have been more enjoyable to me if he still treated others with at least a modicum of decency instead of turning wholeheartedly into the thing he hatted and not regretting it at all.

It was a little boring up until the end when they actually start realizing their feelings towards each other, I guess that helps with the build up. I'm probably too old for this diabetes inducing sweetness already that's why I only enjoyed it in the end lol but yeah still a pretty sweet story.

For real, people overreacted and we really don't even know her side yet.
