Considering the past 8 chapters encompassing 2 months, it appears the author has yet to provide substantial progression in the narrative. As such, advocating for a break might be premature until a more compelling and engaging direction is established.
For everyone who wants to read it, here is a quick info/disclaimer:
This manga has very few words and is overall rather cryptic. That may make you think it’s bad, but that’s the beauty of „BLAME!“. This manga is kind of like a „Write your own story and see if it’s right“. The Panels are stunning, one of the best Art I’ve seen and they truly feels like an Artwork/Painting.
So over all, I’d say it’s a solid 8. Once you get through the rather rough start (1st Volume), where you end up with more questions then at the beginning , it gets way better.

Great Manga what a transition at the end!
