Lol that's why I was thinking the name was familiar, I forgot it 'cause I read it 3 years ago.

I’m loving this manga in particular right now, I’m only about 50 chapters in but am loving every minute of it.  The dichotomy of ghouls and humans is explored so deeply it’s impossible not to be interested by and the further hierarchy of ghouls kagune is so compelling.  Really love when an author can create something like a ghoul, which inevitably creates a storm of questions, and then proceeds to categorically and rhythmically answer them.  It’s so satisfying.  And the art style here is entirely unique.  In particular the way the eyes are drawn are amazing.  When human they’re almost ethereal, misty and mysterious and when ghoul they’re so primitive and animalistic,  such a good job of conveying the circumstances surrounding in only the details of the eyes.

Damnit man, the only phrase that comes to mind when reading this is "fucking peak bro"
