The sad thing is, I had to force myself to get through it. I heard it was good, and started watching the anime, but stopped 10 minutes into the episode. Then I started watching it again, and stopped watching it 1/2 way in. I finally started reading the manga, and am extremely into it. ^^
At first I thought it was going to be annoying, but the story is enjoyable, and it has a sort of 'kodocha' feel to it sometimes, and that alone is enough to keep me reading.
Probably one of my favorite mangas. Little cliche with Mikan's attitude and personality, but the plot is great!
No OMG ___ IS SO BEAUTIFUL AND I WANT TO **** HIM!!!!! filth that fills the genre. Only a good plot with good characters that drives the story along. Even though Mikan/Natsume is an obvious ripoff of Kurata/Hayama.

Very cute and sweet story. I love Mikan and her friends. Though it looks childish, but there's heavy points. At first, it kinda reminds me of Kodomo no Ocha.

Excellent manga. I don't like shoujo-style art that much, but it didn't bother me at all here, since the quality of it surprised me. The drama is great and the comedy meshes well with the other aspects of the manga. I only have two complaints and that is that some of the drama scenes are just too long (e.g. the end of penguin scene lasted nearly a whole chapter), and that the status quo doesn't change enough between story arcs IMO making the arcs somewhat episodic in nature (but lots of manga are like this).

the characters are adorably cute and some are REALLY HOT!!! (i personally love youichi the 13yr old verson- well he's also cute being just 3 hehe...)
the PLOT what to say is really exciting and will keep you reading and reading some dark mysteries quite fascinating... and is really FUNNY!!!

I love this manga so much, I love Natsume, i call him "sama". Higuchi Tachibana is my favorite mangaka, the art is so nice and cute
