I got some gripes mainly one big one. Every emotion in this story is so toned back except happiness. When the little girl gets hurt, she's just "Oh my gosh I'm so ugly!" and the MC and Side character are all like "No, we love you for who you are!" We've known this woman for less than 5 chapters, this has no emotional impact, especially because we KNOW the MC can heal pretty much any injury so it all comes off as fluff.
Speaking of emotional impact, you seriously got this dude who has been traumatized for 35 years from abandonment, suddenly seeing his mother walk back into his town and the first response is that he gets all moody and quiet. The hell? That dude's rage should be able melt the polar icecaps, but he's so dry and emotionless. Even if he's just restraining himself, there's nothing to show his raw emotional state. Even the lady at the inn showed more anger but is just like "Ah well, can't do anything else" like, YES YOU CAN! YOU CAN REFUSE HER! IT'S YOUR INN!
