This manga is a WORK OF ART; Beautiful men, agressive characters, and very unique individuals. The best thing about this series is that the plot makes you want MORE and MORE; not only is the artwork to be praised, the story, the action, and the rough relationship between Asami and Takaba is SUPERB!! It started making me wish that Yamane was my sister. > 😛 Damn, she's a yaoi manga goddess! Never have I love such a manga as much as this!

...But I didn't like how Takaba was being screwed by Feilong... Ew.

For me, this is everything I want in a manga and it delivers it with brilliance. I never want it to end. I Love it and definately acknowledge Ayano Yamane for bringing us this masterpiece.

It is important to point out on what pretext one is judging the series. Yaoi manga generally tend to be controversial. So if one ponders about the manga on moral grounds I can see why there can be much to debate about. But I would say readers should educate themselves about the manga before they pick it up, especially if the 18+ rating is clearly indicated. I also could find rape, drugs and BDSM repulsive but the way Yamane wrote this manga, I believe she did it tastefully to give the desired result: ended up being a very SEXY and exciting manga for me.
I read manga for pure entertainment and I check the catagory before I pick up a manga. This manga provides mature entertainment and caters to my guilty pleasures.

Asami Ryuiichi is the sexiest male manga bishie (that I have seen so far). That is one thing important for me to enjoy in a manga that I indulge in. The other main character; Akihito, is very charismatic. The villain is delicious! Secondly the mangaka has done justice to the supporting cast of the series. A lot of fans want to know more about many of the side characters and find them fascinating. The art is excellent. It aids in visual understanding as well as fantasy. The plot is rich and has depth. It draws you in and always leaves you wanting more at the end. When it comes to smut, I find its proportion very magical and brilliant. It excites and indulges me which is what I seek in mature romance mangas.

This manga delivers on all accounts for me. I wish there were more mangas like this in shoujo/josei genre but I had to turn to yaoi to find my dream combination. We need more mangas like this. This manga certainly is a rare treat. So far I havn't found another one like this where the story and richness of the characters and romance is maintained at such a high level, mixed with mature graphic sexual content. Very entertaining and thrilling!

This manga is great!! The storyline is perfect it's what a reader wants, an innocent bystander suddenly got mangled up with gang war ending up with a sexy handsome gang boss, that makes love to him in every appropriate ways. That art is excellent! I love it, very sastisfying ^_- . Leaves me wanting more and more! I would definitely recommended this manga.

That pretty much tells it! Beautiful plot, Asami and Taki's story was epic! It brought me to tears and made me smile many times at the sweet and tender moments! Ever yaoi lover must read this title! It's a must! Ayano Yamae's greatest work.

what is there not to like?

it's so rare to have a fully developed plotline in a yaoi series.. to have a gem like this truly warms my heart.

well in a few words, the most amazingly and astounding manga ever made.
And even thought it has it's explicit scenes, everything is balanced just right, action,fights,comedy,romance,plot is deep,and well, everything you'd want in a manga.Except this one is yaoi

Very pretty artwork; the story isn't bad, perhaps a little cliche but it didn't bother me. Hardcore sex, but nothing murakami bad. Borderline rape, but not brutal. Flashbacks are boring, but the series kept my interest; read it all in one afternoon. Worth picking up.

The art is fine, and that's all there is to it. The "story" (or lack thereof, unless one's idea of storyline happens to be the plethora of sex scenes that you're assaulted with in this particular manga) is cliche, as mentioned before, and is only useful for catering to wet dreams. But if that's what you're looking for, then, by all means, go ahead.

Up to chapter 30 (v5):
Mafia and underground... but somehow it's a bunch of drama queens. Tough guys bitchslapping roll eyes
Didn't expect it to turn out like that.

The art is great however (and I don't particular mean the smutty scenes). "Simple" images like that:

Actually I only continued this because of the art (I even skipped some parts that just had too much bitchy blabla).

The stories are not to my liking - too corny (wasn't really in the mood for that). And also I hate the rape stuff at the beginning, let alone bondage and other fetishes.
If you like such things I'm sure you'll drool over the first chapters.
Also it's a nice read for those who like generic tough-guy-becomes-cheesy and first-i-didnt-like-it-but-now-i-do types of yaoi settings.

I'll be forever greatful to Yamane sensei for creating this manga! I read it over and over again and just can't have enough 🙂 It does have a lot of sex(wich I don't mind at all) but also has action, comedy, and a lot of touching moments. So hurray for the Viewfinder! 😀

How the hell did this manage to get so many 10's? I have no idea. Maybe because the manga has a lot of pretty naked bishounen? I dunno. It's definitely one of the more perverted and smutty manga I've read.... I def don't think it's the best yaoi, but maybe it's just not my type of manga. I'm really not into these possessive characters..

btw I only read like the first two chapters, but I can tell that this manga is not my cup of tea.

I did not expect much at first but WOW! It turned out to be sooo good. I love the relationship betwen asami and takaba. I have never almost cried while reading a manga. However that last 2 chapters nearly moved me to tears.....A definite must read!!
