IN MY OPINION, this manga is really overrated. It's got alot of rape and stuff like that in it, which is not my thing. If you are into that, then you will probably love this manga but for me it was a bit too much. The art is nice, I guess, but I didn't really find the characters all that interesting or relatable. The plot isn't really anything special and gets kinda repetitive. Probably good if you aren't looking for anything heavy and just want a light read, though I guess not because of the rape and stuff. I guess it's understandable because of the smut tag so, again, if you like that kind of stuff then go for it I guess, you will probably love it. If you however, like me, don't like that stuff, then stay away because this manga has a lot of it. This is all just my opinion though 🙂 .

I will not even go into the rape, I know that yaoi is a harmless fantasy space. However, it's so cliched -- Takaba's objection to his rape is almost obligatory, the police detective's betrayal is even more so, and actually extraneous, and Takaba's minor aid to Asami ending with him being rescued is so predictable. It's so gratuitous, it's like the mangaka doesn't even try.

Not even good enough to be a guilty pleasure yaoi (of which I have many).

This manga is so hot I don't even know how to handle it. The more Asami subdues Akihito, the more he violates him, the more sex they carry out it gets better. I like how mysterious Asami is, until today at volume 7 we still do not know what business he does, and he still is somewhat the sexy mysterious guy from volume one. Akihito is not bad either and I like how he's falling deeper and deeper for Asami, how the bad guys have this dirty fantasy of raping him, it somehow increases his worth showing that he's just not some random street guy. He's hot and Asami as well. Just hope that the manga progresses to show how Asami actually likes Akihito and not just treating him like a toy, let's have them fall passionately in love and let's have Asami get more possessive. It's awesome.
And the art, phew, beautifully drawn. It has improved since volume one, Asami looks even better. I like the side stories too, the author giving us this fabulous fan service.
Read it if you like things like mafia, possessive lover, rape, lots of sex, falling for the hot mysterious stranger, and um yeah more rape. Seriously, Akihito even does blowjob for his job as a journalist. Wonder what happens next when Asami finds out tho...

I really do love Finder! It's such a good & nice manga. The Artwork is amazing & the story is just fcking awesome! I reread it all the time, because I can't get enough from this. I don't think I can live without this awesomeness.

I like the sex, i mean.. Look at it!!! It's not just cute, it's smexy, it's hardcore & asdsfhsa.

The age gap makes it a bit more "better", I don't know why, but I love how Asami treats his little Kitty & everything.

And goddammit, Asami is hot like hell. On the one side he's a bad boy, ganster, business man etc. BUT on the other side he's like the cutest fck ever! If you look at him closely, you can see how much he loves Takaba & how much he's worrying about him & like i said before, I like the way he treats Takaba. What I really adore is how manly Takaba is (but he's a little bit bitchy too)..

So what can I say? Just read it ok? READ IT!! it's so great and whatever, just read it. THANKS

this is just the best ..amazing plot and the characters are very interesting you will never get tired of them especially the seme you cant guess what he is thinking. until now Im still not sure if he loves the uke or not ..

This manga has caught me for complete, it's really very entertaining and leaves you waiting for the next chapter ..
Besides, I love how slowly progresses the relationship between Asami and Akihito, I'll die when they finally recognize that they love each other with a passion.

And hell yeah!!, Asami is the sexiest seme of them all, he tops them all! he is probably the main reason why I love Viewfinder, Akihito is also very nice, I like that he's rebellious and don't want to depend on Asami.

Perhaps the only thing I don't like that much about the history is that ALL men want to rape Akihito and he does nothing to defend himself, he just imagine Asami on moments like that.
And also, I don't like Feilong, vol. 2 was boring thanks to him.

Well, it starts off good, but somehow I think it lost the plot lately (from vol 7-8). And I'm starting to hate Akihito, what the hell is his problem giving everyone a blow job? Seriously... Asami should just dump him

Girls who don't read yaoi, SHOULD read this manga to catch a glimpse of this ...HOT^HOT guy, I mean it.
As for the series, it's good I guess ...loads of mindless sex involved but who cares? That's what Yaoi is all about evil grin
I read what some of my previous reviewers have written and I can't understand why you're making such a big deal of the whole rape thing? It's a MANGA for crying out loud, not some autobiography or some news you've heard. The thing about yaoi rape is that, the Uke does it to the Seme out of sheer possessiveness that's all. Some woman like men like that, although they may not wish for them in real life. Look at FIFTY SHADES OF GREY, why do you think its popular?

Anyway, some fiercely independent woman don't like the idea of being controlled or caged or whatever that goes on in their minds but like I said before, it just a MANGA! So chill and enjoy the sex! Which is what I'm here for xD

One of my fav yaoi mangas. The art improves a lot throughout the serie.
Asami is the ultimate seme and Akihito is a very strong uke. It's a cruel manga at times but has a happy ending. I'd totally recommend it!

This manga is really not my style. But it turned out to be surprisingly good. I'm wondering myself why I didn't throw the manga away after 2nd volume. I was even seriously thinking about set-away this manga already in the middle of first volume. Cause I really didn't like it. But through the third, fourth volume ...it got to me I guess. Now I'm eagerly waiting for every new chapter.

This is my absolute favorite series, in terms of Yaoi. A heads up, though, that it is indeed pretty hard Yaoi. In my opinion, it's well written, and characters are well fleshed out. I'm not a fan of a simpering whiney moe-moe spineless super uke, and this delivers exceptionally well. Akihito has spunk and spice. And Asami? The King of Seme speaks for himself. ♥_♥ The 'anime' adaption is actually an animix, which is more like animated stills. Don't bother watching it. It will kill your soul and make your ovaries(or testes) shrivel up and die. The voice acting in that is horrible, not to mention the Cantonese voice acting/pronounciation(I'm Chinese).

I really really REALLY enjoy this manga. I think it has to be that even after all the abuse that Asami subjects Takaba to I still end up wanting them to be together. That is EXTREMELY rare for me, usually I can't stand cold, abusive, passive aggressive guys ASAMI IS WITHOUT A DOUBT THE EXCEPTION. It might be that even though asami is abusive towards takaba the way the mangaka shows their relationship developing is still so very realistic that it makes you want to root for them to find a happy ever after in whatever way shape or form that may be for them. Besides while Asami is no saint he is definitely not what he seems. There is just is so much more to him than what is seen on the surface it's like we have just seen the tip of the iceberg and besides he is just so darn captivating. It is kinda like a moth is captivated by a bright porch light... Even though the insect acknowledges the carcasses of other insects trapped in the porch light it still is drawn to the captivating light though it will probably be its end. Or maybe the light is so bright that the moth can't acknowledge anythig other than the light. I sometimes feel like takaba is kinda in a similar situation except takaba is not as stupid to not care about asami's faults he just thinks that asami's light is captivatig enough to get close to even if it burns a little. Idk But honestly Takaba isn't completely innocent anyway which is why they work pretty well together on some semi twisted animalistic mental wavelength. Also takaba might be a bit of a masochist. Lol. Ultimately I really love the art (Gosh is it just goregous!) I really love the characters. The only thing I will complain about is there isn't enough updates and sometimes even when there ARE updates the chapters are sooo short. This is an addicting manga with a capital A,which is why I am complaining about not being able to read more of it because of lack of updates, but at the same time having to wait months to read it sometimes seems fitting for this manga... It makes it even better. I don't know what the hell I am talking about any more. I just know that this is such a sexy,erotic,exciting,thrilling,steamy,beautiful, yaoi manga that I just want to rave about and hope that my ravings will get someone else to read this awesome yaoi!
