Real talk people get hung up over their first love a lot. Shit happens. It was messed up that she didn't get mentioned or even like get a chance to date him but that's kinda realistic in a way too.

Also people who get cheated on do stay with them despite all that sometimes. It's weird. I'm happy she was able to live a fulfilling life after it though.
