Much like the comment below, I was worried about the premise of forcing her to be the villainess, but that turned out fine. The whole loop deal kind of only serves as a way of forcing conflict, since she has to be there for specific events and she has to confront the MC, but I found this pointless in the end. With her position in society there would be no issue with saying she is obligated to attend such events. The fact that she's forced to at least try to follow the original plot of the novel kind of works against itself, since sure, the reader doesn't know what will happen, but she does, and her lack of panic and so on just indicated that everything will be fine. It kills tension.
