    [Up to chapter 141]

It takes elements from Solo Levelling and One Punch Man, but surprisingly, not so much that it feels like copying from either series. I've read a lot of series, manga, manhwa, mnahua, comics etc., and this would likely be one of my top 10 in terms of quality and knowledge. Call it infotainment, if you will.

We all know that myths, religions and so on are regularly passed on to inspire and to educate people what to do and what not to do.

This series takes a lot of reference from them to boost MC. Yes, it's not some random power out of nowhere [random bullsht go!], some cool-sounding abilities or flashy techniques only, but rather reliant on understanding and realisation of the concepts that boosts the MC. But the reader can learn at the same time, especially those relating to being calm, perseverance and courage.

What I like especially about this series is that the focus of this series is on teamwork, even as evidently the main power concentration is on the MC. This makes it far better than Bleach, Naruto and Solo Levelling, especially for the character development and story coherence. Focusing near purely on one character only makes it so that only the MC battles are truly consequential for the story progression, which makes either the story very one-sided (like in Solo Levelling) or with a lot of fillers (basically any content not including MC).

Up to chapter 141, all I can say is that most aspects are 10/10 (Character, Art and Overall), except story which is a 9/10, because the series seems to have quite a few unresolved plotlines before moving to new ones, so it could be better.

It's an amazing manhwa, idk what people's problem are, if you don't like it stop putting hate comments and stop reading. Like what's the point of reading if you don't like it?? Dumb duck

So I started this off kinda half-assedly, and came back every few chapters. Life is busy for me, and I'll catch up periodically, but I most definitely wasn't weekly.

.,...and yet, every time it comes back, it just gets better and better. The story is just a really good mix of standard hunter type lifestyle, dungeon crawling and so on, but with really good humor (oh my god, this entire story has so many good meme panels! ~~so much quality content lol). But also, part of it is the semi-philosophical nature that it has, which is made possible by the fact the MC is getting to watch lectures from mythological characters who are by their very nature beyond human. And because they're lectures from literal higher beings, the MC doesn't get everything, which really mirrors every normal human. Like honestly, have you ever tried to parse deep Buddhist philosophy? But as a result, tons can go over his head, and he'll pick up only on little bits of it (just like us, the audience). On the flip side though, he can get moments of eureka where something just clicks, and he has these epiphanies, which really make the story enjoyable.

So yeah, it's not perfect, but literally, every time I come back with a mini-build up of like 8 chapters, I enjoy it more and more every time. It's thoroughly enjoyable. No qualms in saying that whatsoever.

    [as of Chapter 39]
Am actually liking the series so far, compared to the start. Personally, it gets quite good at Chapter 37/38; when the lessons from the teachers catch up to MC and he is able to reflect on his journey of being caught up in the race to strengh. Otherwise, I do think some characters are a bit weirdly characterized, but I enjoy the ones MC gets along with. Those deadpan scenes are also hilarious.

Way too many arrogant, corrupt, anger and self-control issue ridden bastards that go unpunished.

Can't stand it, its used for absurdist annoying comedy, not serious enough to become "fight against the odds".
