Maybe I'm too much of a prude for this manga, but I feel like you have to go to the complete opposite for this kind of premise. Kind of like how in story about how a well known villain is actually misunderstood you have to make him the complete opposite of his typical depiction. They're sorta going halfway and there's not as big of a contrast as I think there needs to be to hit right.
