@ShionSin, rather than having all the memories from the get-go he inherits them slowly, as if they weren't his own. It is shown through the way he learns magic and other skills, if he had his memories as soon as he was reincarnated he would have access to all his skills. So he truly is a child like an adult body. Hence why Aisha says she feels like a mother talking to a child when having a conversation with him.
