It's good, if you like highschool romcoms, it's cute and nice. The only downside was part of the first chapter, where the author seemed to want to make the mc as negative/cynical as possible, but thankfully it got better after that.
Man, I'm really surprised that we are still being blessed with this kind of manga knowing fully well how many bad manga were out there.
Furthermore, it's not easy to find this type of manga.
It's a decent ADAPTATION from the source which is a light novel.
Both the MC and FMC arts were not bad.
The thought process and action of the MC is quite similar to our boy
Perhaps the translator also plays a part in this, but I actually never once cringed while reading the MC's thoughts. It's an enjoyable read.
The interactions between the characters were good tho the eyeshots and facial expressions were quite lacking. This will be on the art side.
I would say it's quite similar to 'that' series but managed to retain it's own identity.
Sadly, one major issue that all of us gonna have with this series is the source had been axed even though it managed to win an award. Wasted!
Well, time to find another material to read.
There's still ways for this to be better but that doesn't mean it's something bad. In fact it's one of the best manga's I've read. The plot is interesting and main character is definitely great. Another + points for the female lead too. This needs more chapters it has great potential.
Clearly, this is not the isekai we were looking for.
For a female lead, Hanamitsuji leaves me wanting; she's cute (I guess; Hoshigasaki is definitely cuter and Sakado might be as well), and her personality is pretty grating. Her words and actions are misaligned.
If this is going somewhere, well, I'll be surprised. Other than the trash bin of the magazine it's running in.
We have teh standard negative protag who gets to relive his life from the start of high school after his death via truck-kun.
Bring your bingo cards out bois cause this tickles many of them:
-Herbivorous negative protag
-Waifu's that are more stereotypes over actual characters
-Waifu that loves ML but treats him at friend level but gets jelly of any interaction with other waifus
-Misunderstandings
All in all I'm using this series as a time fill for reading, it's at least not offensive but I feel like this is gonna get the axed/rushed treatment.
