Alright, I started reading this because Doberman Pinschers are my favorite breed of dog. This manhwa delivers on the dobermans!!! There's 3 of them and they are part of almost every chapter! That's worth 5 points right there.
For the story itself, gotta say the FL is pretty dumb. There are a couple key moments when her observations were particularly astute, but other than that she does not listen well and can't grasp what environment she's in. Part of it is explained away by her poor background and the (mis)information she was working of off. Doesn't make it less annoying though.
The ML.... I would have him wreck me any day or night (update: he sucked the 1st time they fucked, so nvm, he's now eye candy only) . He's scary, unreadable, violent, unstable, neurotic, and so sexy. I'm 20 episodes in and there's a corny "twist" that made me laugh in "was not expecting this trope to pop up".
It's fine. It's trying to be gritty but to me it fails a bit. Probably due to the fact that there's no way ML can run a city and still have so much free time.
It's entertaining, but the work as a whole is "meets expectations" and not more. When the entertainment value goes down, I'll ammend my review.
Update: First smut scene is hella disappointing. There was no mood setup. It was very "we are going to have sex now. Take off your clothes". Then he pinches her nipples and that turns her on immediately without anything else?!? She's over 30 years old and doesn't know how blowjobs work? She had to be told to use her mouth. I get that she is a virgin, but that's not an excuse for such ignorance. He thrusts his giant dick in and pounds away without letting her get used to it. The dirty talk was awful.
The whole situation seemed forced/contrived (as in out of character for both them and didn't fit naturally in the story).
Frankly, this is almost drop worthy for me. Bad biology irks me. Yes this is present in so many smuts, but the whole almost orgasm response from having nothing done but her nipples pinched was too nonsensical.
I also forgot to mention in first review that the established plot and the direction of the story are not aligned. She's so easily distracted by her environment. Like, why didn't she send the money the moment she got it?
